The 2020–21 Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball team represented the University of Cincinnati in the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bearcats were led by second-year head-coach John Brannen. The team played their home games at Fifth Third Arena as members of the American Athletic Conference.

This recognition was created to honor thirty of the up-and-coming women's basketball coaches age 30 and under in the sport at all levels of the game.″ [32] In 2016, the WBCA also began awarding an Assistant Coach of the Year award. He attended the University of Alabama between 1989 and 1994 where he played varsity basketball for five seasons, before graduating in December 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
