State Route 25 (SR 25) is a state highway in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia.It travels south-to-north near the Atlantic Ocean, serving the Brunswick and Savannah metropolitan areas on its path from the Florida state line at the St. Marys River to the South Carolina state line at the Little Back River, a channel of the Savannah River.
The Tom Triplett Parkway is a section of SR 21 located in Port Wentworth on the west side of the Savannah metropolitan area. [3]It stretches from the Chatham–Effingham county line (roughly the Lake Cherie Road intersection) to the Garden City–Port Wentworth city line (roughly the SR 307 intersection).
The route heads nearly due east until it meets its northern terminus at I-75, exit 261 (former exit 111) in Marietta, though the roadway continues east as Delk Road. The road originally ended at Powers Ferry Road, but was extended a block eastward around 1989 to Terrell Mill Road, after a county sales tax was passed to fund it and other projects.
