Third World is a Jamaican reggae fusion band formed in 1973. Their sound is influenced by soul , funk and disco . Although it has undergone several line-up changes, Stephen "Cat" Coore and Richard Daley have been constant members.

William Alexander Anthony "Bunny Rugs" Clarke, OD (6 February 1948 – 2 February 2014), also known as Bunny Scott, was the lead singer of Jamaican reggae band Third World as well as a solo artist. He began his career in the mid-1960s, and was also at one time a member of Inner Circle and half of the duo Bunny & Ricky.

The term Third World arose during the Cold War to define countries that remained non-aligned with either NATO or the Warsaw Pact.The United States, Canada, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Western European countries and other allies represented the "First World", while the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam, and their allies represented the "Second World".
Ward abruptly left partway through the album's promotional tour after a show on 19 August 1980, with Vinny Appice enlisted to take his place from 31 August. [10] In November 1982, after disagreements over the mixing of Live Evil, Dio and Appice left Black Sabbath and formed Dio together. [11]
