Citizen is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Saravana Subbiah and produced by S. S. Chakravarthy. The film stars Ajith Kumar in dual roles with Meena , Vasundhara Das and Nagma playing supporting roles.
Saravana Subbiah made his directorial debut with Citizen (2001) featuring Ajith Kumar in the leading role of a social activist. Prior to release, the film created anticipation with reports suggesting that Ajith would portray several different get-ups in a double role.
Das in a Concert. In 1999, Vasundhara debuted as an actor with Kamal Haasan in the film Hey Ram though she started her career industry as a playback singer. 24 is the soundtrack album, composed by A. R. Rahman with song lyrics by Vairamuthu and Madhan Karky, to the 2016 Tamil film of the same name, produced by Suriya and directed by Vikram Kumar. The album features six tracks and was released on 9 April 2016 by Eros Music .
Soundaryan began his career by working with K. S. Ravikumar on two successful films, Cheran Pandiyan (1991) and Putham Pudhu Payanam (1991). He subsequently composed songs for films with rural backdrops in the 1990s, winning acclaim for his work in Sindhu Nathi Poo (1994), Gopura Deepam (1997) and Cheran Chozhan Pandian (1998), before working on low budget films thereafter.
The soundtrack for the Tamil version of the film was intended to be launched on 31 March 2011, [5] but instead the album was released on the occasion of Tamil New Year (14 April 2011) at Sathyam Cinemas, with director Mani Ratnam, cinematographer P. C. Sreeram, actors Arya, Jayam Ravi and Shiva and the film crew felicitating the event. [6]
