Sheebah Karungi was born and raised by a single mother Edith Kabazungu [6] in Kawempe, a division of Kampala district, the capital city of Uganda. [7] After completing her basic education at Kawempe Muslim Primary School, she dropped out of school in senior two when she was a student of Midland High School, Kawempe. [8]
His club hit "Batuwulira" followed by "Byenyenya" made him the most booked Ugandan artist in 2017. Fik won awards in Uganda and East Africa and went on to win Uganda's most popular artist in 2017. The album had three singles released as a build up to the album. Yenze Aliko, a song released in 2017 was the first release off the album. The single saw Flex D'Paper win the Song of the year award at the MTN UG Hip Hop awards 2019 [8] [9] and also got nominated at the Hipipo Music Awards 2020 [10] [11] [12] for the same single, Yenze Aliko.
Submission for nomination is evaluated and decided by the Research Panel. Final awards winners are decided by the Jury Panel and Public Vote. The Awards Jury and Research Panel comprise people with extensive knowledge and experience in ICT roles such as entrepreneurs, innovators, academic, consultants, policy makers and thought-leaders.
