The Kamado family is a line of charcoal makers and the descendants of Sumiyoshi, a close friend of Yoriichi Tsugikuni and the progenitor of the Hinokami Kagura, which was made as a promise to preserve his Sun Breathing through his descendants.
She becomes Muzan's prime target as he has long sought a way to overcome the sun and become immortal.
