Laurel is a city in and the second county seat of Jones County, Mississippi, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 17,161. [4] Laurel is northeast of Ellisville, the first county seat, which contains the first county courthouse. It has the second county courthouse, as Jones County has two judicial districts.

Pattison is located on the former Yazoo and Mississippi Valley Railroad and was once home to a drug store, grist mill, cotton gin, saloon, hotel, and multiple general stores. Bullhead City is a city located on the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona, United States, 97 miles (156 km) south of Las Vegas, Nevada, and directly across the Colorado River from Laughlin, Nevada, whose casinos and ancillary services supply much of the employment for Bullhead City. In 1953, the dam was completed, and residential development commenced in Bullhead City, Lake Mohave and Mohave Valley areas.
