    Viejo-mazatlan.com has the only online picture I've found of it. The caption indicates it was open in the 1950's. Aviation databases show there was an incident with a Mexicana 727 in 1973 at Rafael Buelna so the old airport probably closed before this happened. Skywayman 11:31, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
