Tulum (pronounced) is the largest community in the municipality of Tulum, Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is located on the Caribbean coast of the state, near the site of the archaeological ruins of Tulum .
The Tulum ruins are the third most-visited archeological site in Mexico, after Teotihuacan and Chichen Itza, receiving over 2.2 million visitors in 2017. The system's Tulum station was placed on the eastern route connecting Cancún International Airport and Escárcega, Campeche.
