The park contains a nature center, picnic shelters, a large fishing pond, 14 cabins, and 50 campsites. Trails and more than 1 mi (1.6 km) of boardwalks allow visitors to explore four different ecosystems within the park: cypress-tupelo swamp, bottomland hardwood forest, mixed pine hardwood forest, and the Tickfaw River.
Doyline is an entry point to Lake Bistineau and the Lake Bistineau State Park, a popular fishing destination and the reservoir of Dorcheat Bayou. The Doyline High School Panthers won their state basketball championship in 1967, and two of the players pursued athletic careers.

There are 10 cabins and 67 campsites on the Park grounds for campers. Hikers is promoted at the park via two trails. Trail A is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) and Trail B is 4 miles (6.4 km).
