The Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (Urdu: ایجنسی برائے حفاظت ماحولیات, abbreviated as Pak-EPA), is an executive agency of the Government of Pakistan managed by the Ministry of Climate Change.
The Ministry of Environment (or MoE), was a Cabinet-level ministry of Government of Pakistan, tasked and primarily responsible for planning, coordinating, promoting, protecting and overseeing the policy implementation of government sanctioned environmental and forestry programmes in the country.

Pakistan's coastline, which stretches over 1,046 km, is facing severe pollution due to a combination of industrial, port, municipal, and transportation activities in the area.
