The Independent Softball Association, now known as the Independent Sports Association (ISA), is one of four governing bodies for softball in North America. The ISA was founded by Larry Nash with the help of his wife Connie, in 1984 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The headquarters moved to Winter Haven, Florida in 1997 and to Bartow, Florida in 2007. [1]

The 2025 WBSC Men's Softball World Cup will be the 18th Men's Softball World Cup, an international softball tournament. The group stage will take place from 12 June–21 September 2024 in Prince Albert, Canada; Sonora, Mexico; and Oklahoma City, United States. The finals will take place from 8–13 July 2025 in Prince Albert, Canada.
Group A of the 2025 Men's Softball World Cup will take place from 12 to 16 June 2023 in Hermosillo, Mexico. [1] The group consists of host nation Mexico, defending champions Australia, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Philippines and Venezuela.
The 2025 season will be the last for four Division I softball schools in their current conferences. Delaware and Missouri State will join Conference USA. [12] [13] UMass will join the Mid-American Conference. [14] Seattle will join the West Coast Conference. [15]
