Deepak B. Phatak (born 2 April 1948) is an Indian computer scientist and academic, and a recipient of the Padma Shri Award for his contribution in science and technology in 2013. [1]
He moved to the University of Maryland, College Park in 1998 as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He was appointed as the founding director of the Maryland Robotics Center in 2010. [1] He was appointed as a Program Director for National Robotics Initiative at National Science Foundation and served in this role from 2012 to 2014. [2]
Dinesh Mohan was honorary professor at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) since 2017. He was distinguished professor at Shiv Nadar University, Gautam Buddha Nagar (India) from 2016 to 2018.
