The San Carlos Hotel, also known as Hotel San Carlos, was built in 1925 and is located at 202 N. Central Avenue. Mae West, Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, Marilyn Monroe and Gene Autry are among the celebrities who at one time stayed at the San Carlos.
