Quintus (Latin pronunciation: [ˈkᶣiːntʊs]), feminine Quinta, is a Latin praenomen, or personal name, which was common throughout all periods of Roman history. It was used by both patrician and plebeian families, and gave rise to the patronymic gentes Quinctia and Quinctilia .
