The council is based at Bodlondeb, which was built as a house in 1877 on Bangor Road in Conwy, just outside the town walls and set in substantial grounds stretching down to the River Conwy. [20] The house had been bought in 1937 by the former Conwy Municipal Borough Council and converted into a civic centre. [ 21 ]
The school was founded as Llanrwst Grammar School in 1610 by Sir John Wynn, which was situated in the building of the 'upper school'. In 1960 it was renamed Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy (Conwy Valley School) to reflect the fact that the school served the wider Conwy Valley. In February 2005 the pupils were all moved to the Sodexo-owned site on Nebo Road.

Ysgol John Bright is a secondary school on Maesdu Road, Llandudno in Conwy County Borough, Wales. It was founded with money and support from the social reformer John Bright, whose son died in Llandudno in 1864. Until 1969 the school was a selective grammar school known as John Bright Grammar School (JBGS).
Ysgol Aberconwy is a medium-sized, mixed comprehensive school for ages 11 to 18, on the Conwy estuary on the North Wales coast. The school is two minutes from the A55 Expressway linking Chester to North Wales. Ian Gerrard BSc was appointed headteacher at the beginning of the 2014–15 academic year.
