Sanjaya Kumar Mishra (born 29 December 1961) is an Indian Judge, who served as the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court. He was a Judge of Uttarakhand High Court. [1] He has previously served as Acting Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court and Judge of Orissa High Court. [2]
In 1990, Gupta was elevated as Judge of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court. [1] He was transferred to Calcutta High Court in 1996 and was appointed Acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court on 15 November 2000. He took oath as the first permanent Chief Justice of this High Court on 5 December 2000. [2]
