HDMI and DVI share the same "language", while DisplayPort is different. I use an AMD FirePro GPU that has four DP outputs which I use active adapters to output DVI. While I do not output high resolution ...

However, you will probably find few displays having DisplayPort inputs and it seems that with mini-DisplayPort to HDMI adapters you actually need to take the audio from the USB port on the Mac mini and properly configure it for that. With DVI or VGA via an adapter you would need to separately distribute the analog audio. So that leads to a few ...

The projector has computer (HD15), S-Video (4 pin mini-DIN) and composite video inputs. You could scan convert the computer signal or the computer may even provide a composite or S-Video output and you could use BNC to RCA adapters on the end for the RCA video input on the projector but this approach would be virtually guaranteed to result in lower resolution and image quality than staying with ...

Look up fiber HDMI cables on amazon. I was wrangling an SDI installation and trying to fit all the converters and cable into their budget until a janitor walked in with one of these pre-made fiber HDMI's and it worked flawlessly. I couldn't even get a spool of bulk coax in the range those cables cost. 3 yrs later and they are still going fine.

The important detail is 4 discrete video outputs. 3 for your Audience (projectors) and one for your run/workstation view. So, I need to do one of the following (considering that I will likely have to add other cameras with the same setup). -HDMI to HD-SDI converter at the camera to take camera's HDMI output and run it as SDI back to the switcher. -Run camera's component signal back to the switcher and use a component to HDMI converter (cheaper than the sdi converter).
