Sobs is a Singaporean indie rock/pop band formed in 2017. The band comprises Celine Autumn on vocals, Jared Lim on lead guitar, and Raphael Ong on rhythm guitar. [3] [4] As a touring unit, Sobs consists of Autumn, Lim, Ong, and auxiliary members such as Zhang Bo on bass, Soffi Peters on synths, and Shaun Khiu on drums. [4]
Jeremy Ian Monteiro (born 20 June 1960, Singapore) is a Singaporean jazz pianist, singer, composer, and music educator. In Singapore he was mentioned by the local press as Singapore's "King of Swing". [1] [2] Monteiro was awarded the Cultural Medallion (in the Music category) by the National Arts Council, Singapore in 2002. [3]
His role as music director for Singapore hit movie <881>, composing for musicals such as Nanyang, Lao Jiu the Musical, Liao Zhai Rocks, (Singapore/Shanghai) and writing theme songs for “Voice of China - Turn you around” (China), and “Shockwave” starring Andy Lau (Hong Kong) etc. helped to elevate the value of music in these productions.
