Richard J. McNally (born April 17, 1954) is an American psychologist and director of clinical training at Harvard University's department of psychology. As a clinical psychologist and experimental psycho-pathologist, McNally studies anxiety disorders and related syndromes, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder, and complicated grief.
He is a graduate of Harvard University and Johns Hopkins University medical school. From 1969 to 1979 he was a regional, division, and associate director of the National Institute of Mental Health . He then became director of the Michigan Department of Mental Health, a position he held for 3 years, from 1979 to 1981.
Anna B. Baranowsky is a Canadian Clinical Psychologist and the founder and CEO of the Traumatology Institute (TI).
