Denon DP-47F. by Thunderbox. The automatic functions are beyond excellent. Automatics are known to be clunky, noisy and problematic. The Denon is just so smooth in it's operation, it's a complete joy to watch it work it's magic. Sounds like a high end table to me and I love that any button can be operated without raising the cover, imagine that ...
Currently Yamaha C80 M50 GenesisII Upgraded by Human also 2 different Advents via an Yammy M45.I may sell my longtime (former) favorite YPD6 Yam for another Denon? by GWIZZ1950. Simply a great fully automatic turntable! I have owned mine for more than 14 years. by AxEffects. I own four Denon tables, a DP-62L, two DP-47F, and a DP-45F.
Compared the deck with a 47F and a Kenwood KD 7010. Although the KD 7010 is a very comparable deck and already looks awesome, the Denon DP 59L looks just that bit nicer. Both have their pros and cons but overall I am really excited to finally have a DL 59L of my own. These deck become more expensive by the day it seems, now running between 1200 ...
Denon DP-23F. by rorenoren. The DP23f is a good sounding turntable and the original DL80 cartridge is good as well. Only for the sound I would rate it higher. But, the plinth is cheap and plasticky. It is resonant and the surface is very delicate. I tried to remove some residue of glue/tape, but the paint became shiny and the glue stayed.
Apparently that preamp and the Denon just did not get along. 100 ohms loading sounded dull, 1k load sounded better but still weak highs. Lately decided to try one more thing. I ordered a bargain Denon SUT AU-320 from Japan 178$. Ebay has them all in Japan, only big dollar or garage built SUT in USA. The SUT made the big difference with this cart.

I own a Denon DP-37F that I purchased new back in 1984. It is still in mint condition. I have a Fidelity Research MC44 cartridge mounted on it and the sound is extraordinary. I have owned a Dual 1245 , Thorens 160 and an AR manual turntable as well as others and the DP-37F is the best turntable that I have ever owned or operated.
This Denon is a very good cartridge, but way too expensive nowadays. It used to cost 110 Euros/Dollars then... The sound is full and detailed with good bass. I use two of them, one with a glued cantilever. Both still sound almost the same. The glued one is slightly less good tracking. (but, still good) I use 1.8 gramms (sometimes 2.0g on the ...
Denon DP-1200. by Harbeth30. It’s 2022 and I was in the market for a backup to my Oracle Alexandria, been a audio buff for over 40 years and always just owned heavy platter belt drive tables. The look of the Denon’s always intrigued me. This DP 1200 popped up locally for what I thought was a reasonable price of $600.
Denon DP-300F. Have owned 3 years and really like this turntable. It is good out of the box but can be easily upgraded with a few things. LP Gear makes a nice eliptical stylus that slips right into the existing cart. Also, new isolation feet, and a nice platter weight make this a very good sounding turntable. The Ortofon red and blue are great ...
