Prairie Creek is a stream in the west central Douglas County, Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of Cowskin Creek. The stream headwaters are just north of the Ava city limits. It flows south through the west part of the city then turns southwest to west. The stream passes under routes 14 and 5 within west Ava.
Sleigh and trolley rides by South Creek Clydesdales will be offered from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 26 through Dec. 31. The sleigh can fit four people and the trolley can fit 16 to 18 people.
