Pokegama (/ p ə ˈ k ɛ ɡ ɒ ˌ m ɑː /) is an unincorporated community in Pokegama Township, Pine County, Minnesota, United States; along the southern shores of Pokegama Lake.Its name in Ojibwe is Bakegamaang, meaning "at the side-lake", referring to Pokegama Lake's position to the Snake River.
Today, the lake is home to two resorts, a bed and breakfast, Lake Bemidji State Park campground, and multiple hotels situated along the south shore development.
