Pamela Chopra (née Singh; 29 July 1948 – 20 April 2023) was an Indian playback singer. She was the wife of veteran Bollywood film director Yash Chopra , and was also a film writer and producer in her own right.

Uday Raj Chopra (born 5 January 1973) is an Indian actor and producer. He is the son of filmmaker Yash Chopra . He made his acting debut in the 2000 musical romantic drama Mohabbatein and featured in several other films including Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai (2002), Dhoom (2004), Dhoom 2 (2006) and Dhoom 3 (2013).
Baldev Raj Chopra (22 April 1914 – 5 November 2008) [1] was a prolific Indian director and producer noted for pioneering the Hindi film industry and television series. He's known for directing notable films, such as Afsana , Ek Hi Raasta , Naya Daur , Sadhna , Kanoon , Gumrah , Hamraaz , Dhund , Pati Patni Aur Woh , Insaf Ka Tarazu and Nikaah .
Chopra started his film-making career at the age of 18 as an assistant director, working with his father on films such as Chandni (1989), Lamhe (1991) and Darr (1993). He also wrote his first screenplays for his father's Parampara (1992) and his mother's independently produced film Aaina (1993), which was the only film not directed by his father that he was an assistant director on.

Johar was born on 6 September 1929 in Amritsar, Punjab, in a Punjabi Hindu family associated with the Arya Samaj. [1] [3] [4] He was married to Hiroo, sister of filmmakers B. R. Chopra and Yash Chopra. [5] [6] He died on 26 June 2004 in Mumbai, aged 74, of a chest infection, though he had also been fighting cancer.
