The 2025 FIBA AmeriCup will be the 20th edition of the FIBA AmeriCup, the quadrennial international men's basketball championship organized by FIBA Americas. The tournament will be hosted in Managua , Nicaragua, for the first time from 23 to 31 August 2025.
The eight participating teams were divided into two groups: Group A in Chile and Group B in Nicaragua. Each team will play against the rest of the teams in its group (total of three games per team). The best two teams in each of the groups will automatically qualify for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025 Qualifiers, beginning in February 2024.
A total of 19 national teams have appeared in at least one FIBA AmeriCup in the history of the tournament through the 2025 competition. Each successive AmeriCup has had at least one team appearing for the first time. Countries competing in their first AmeriCup are listed below by year.
