Lee Jong-hyun (born May 15, 1990), also known by his mononym Jonghyun, is a South Korean musician, singer-songwriter and actor. He was the former lead guitarist and vocalist of South Korean rock band CNBLUE .
7°CN is the seventh mini-album by South Korean pop-rock idol band CNBLUE.It was released on March 20, 2017, under FNC Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment.It was also the last Korean release to feature Jonghyun, who left the group in August 2019.
Lee Jong-hyun (guitar and vocals) left the band on August 28, 2019. CN is an initialism for Code Name , while BLUE is a backronym for burning , lovely , untouchable , and emotional ; it is meant to portray the images of Jong-hyun, Min-hyuk, Jung-shin, and Yong-hwa, respectively. [ 1 ]

On January 5, 2010, CNBLUE's debut was announced to be on January 14. [11] In addition to video teasers, each member was accompanied by a word that made up the acronym BLUE, which was meant to portray their individual images. The first 35-second teaser was released on January 7, which revealed Lee Jong-hyun and the word "burning". [12]
A month later, the band released the special mini-album First Step +1 Thank You; Jung contributed lyrics to two tracks, while guitarist and vocalist Lee Jong-hyun co-wrote one song. [8] Later that year, CNBLUE released its final independent album 392 in Japan.
