The Carnegie Library in Anaheim, California is a Carnegie library building built in 1908. The Classical Revival style building was designed by John C. Austin, and opened in 1909. It was a public library until 1963. During the 1970s it served as the personnel office for the City of Anaheim.
The City of Anaheim purchased the house in 1950, and since 1962 the Anaheim Public Library has managed it. Next to the Mother Colony house is the two-story historic John Woelke House . Modjeska House is also a California Historical Landmark .
In 2002, Anaheim approved a $65 million project for a new library, retail, 500 apartments, and parking, including the revitalization of Anaheim Towne Center.
