"Oh Yeah" is a single released in 1985 by the band Yello and featured on their album Stella. The song features a mix of electronic music and manipulated vocals. The song gained popularity after being featured in the films Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Secret of My Success, among others. It is a popular staple in pop culture.
It also appeared inside the German top 10, gaining gold status. The song "Oh Yeah" from the album gained the band worldwide attention the following year, after it prominently appeared in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller's Day Off [6] and then a year later in The Secret of My Success.
"Oh Yeah" is an addition to the US version of the album, the track is originally on the previous album, Stella. On release LP830956-1 (1987), Oh Yeah is track #6 at the end of side A, and the rest of the tracks are in the same order. On other US relases it takes place between "Gold Rush" and "Dr. Van Steiner".
The song was later used in the Miami Vice episode "Killshot" in 1986, and in the film Dutch in 1991. No further singles were planned to be released from Stella, but in 1986 Yello fan and film director John Hughes asked permission to use the track "Oh Yeah" in his new film Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Dieter Meier (born 4 March 1945) is a Swiss musician, conceptual artist and entrepreneur. He is the frontman of the electronic music group Yello, which was co-founded (with ex-member Carlos Perón) by music producer Boris Blank.
