Monocle is a global affairs and lifestyle magazine, 24-hour radio station, website, retailer and media brand, produced by Winkreative Ltd.It was founded by Tyler Brûlé, a Canadian entrepreneur, Financial Times columnist, and founder of Wallpaper* magazine.
In October 2006, Brûlé announced that he would create a new magazine, to be called Monocle, which launched February 14, 2007. Brûlé later stated "Monocle is the media project I always wanted to do". [10] He currently resides in Zürich, Switzerland, where one of Monocle's main bureaux is located, despite Monocle's head office being in London.
