Elyse Morgan Bennett (born December 27, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who most recently played as a forward for San Diego Wave FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Bennett has also previously played for the OL Reign (later Seattle Reign FC) and the Kansas City Current .
Upon his release the Carolina Lightnin' of the American Soccer League quickly picked Bennett up, [3] but he suffered yet another injury in his first appearance, and by mid-June was released to make roster space for another player. [4] In 1984, Bennett suited up for the Oklahoma City Stampede of the United Soccer League. [5]
Bennett attended St. Thomas More Catholic Secondary School, and played college soccer at Marian College from 2003 to 2006.. During his college years Bennett also played with the Hamilton Thunder in the Canadian Professional Soccer League; he joined the Thunder in 2001 and remained with the team through the 2005 season.
