Schuylkill Haven's sewage treatment plant is located at the southern edge of town, on the western side of St. Charles Street. Schuylkill Haven's borough hall was once located in the Schuylkill Haven station on Main Street. In July 2015, however, it was moved to 333 Centre Avenue on PA Route 61. Schuylkill Haven is served by its own police force.
