Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud (born 11 November 1959) is an Indian jurist, who served as the 50th Chief Justice of India from 9 November 2022 to 10 November 2024. He was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of India in May 2016.
Justice Chandrachud started his inquiry on 7 July 1997. Manoj Prabhakar, Kapil Dev and Outlook magazine correspondent Krishna Prasad deposed to the judge on the first day.
