Port Neches is a city in Jefferson County, Texas, United States. The population was 13,692 at the 2020 census , [ 4 ] an increase over the figure of 13,040 tabulated in 2010. It is part of the Beaumont–Port Arthur metropolitan area .
Central Gardens is located in eastern Jefferson County and is bordered to the southeast by Nederland. Texas State Highway 347 passes through the northeastern side of the community, leading southeast into Nederland and northwest 8 miles (13 km) to Beaumont.

The Federal Correctional Complex, Beaumont (FCC Beaumont) is a United States federal prison complex for male inmates in unincorporated Jefferson County, Texas. [1] It is operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a division of the United States Department of Justice. The complex consists of three facilities:
