The Cat remasters are pretty good but are too boosted for my tastes and have unneeded compression. The MFSL sounds neutral and wonderful IMO.

I was curious to see how it stacked up against the Quality Records Pressing (Acoustic Sounds) - so I promptly compared two cuts from the LP to the SACD. The WG Teaser is easy spotted - on the spine and back inlay it's mis-titled as "Teaser and Firecat", no "the".

The other Cat Stevens songs in the film were put there by the editing team, as "place-holder" music. Ashby liked it so much, he couldn't think of replacing them. He reached out to Cat, and got his blessing to include them. Stevens then offered to create music specifically for the film. Naturally, Ashby loved the idea. Two songs were sent along.
