The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education was formed in 1961 [1] in the city of Hyderabad, Sindh to facilitate examinations for high schools and higher secondary schools (also called intermediate colleges).
The Federal Advisory Board was created in 1940 to fill the need for an organisation which could initiate, supervise and promote the publication of material in Sindhi language. The assembly was constituted following the 2024 provincial election held in Sindh, and its term is to last until 2029.
