North Bay's Downtown is located along the shore of Lake Nipissing, between the Gateway and Ferris neighbourhoods. The area is aligned southeast to northwest, and bounded roughly by Fisher Street, Memorial Drive, Algonquin Avenue and Fifth Avenue.
It was created in 1858. The district seat is North Bay. In 2021, the population was 84,716. The land area is 16,986.20 square kilometres (6,558.41 sq mi); the population density was 5.0 per square kilometre (13/sq mi), making it one of the most densely populated districts in northern Ontario. [1]

While the urban core of North Bay is located primarily between Trout Lake and Lake Nipissing, the city limits contain the lake's entire northern shore. Much of the lake's southern shore is located within the township of East Ferris.
Sundridge is a village in central Ontario, Canada, approximately 75 km south of North Bay, Ontario along Highway 11, on the shore of Lake Bernard. Sundridge is a tourist destination in both winter and summer, with boating and snowmobiling providing the main attraction. Algonquin Provincial Park is accessible nearby.
