The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), is a public law school and a National Law University located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and is considered as one of the best law schools in India. It has its jurisdiction over entire state of Telangana.
In Haryana the courses of Law are offered by various private and government colleges and universities around fifty Legal Education Centres. [1] These courses are being taught in various universities and colleges in India.
The Land Rights Paralegal Programme of Andhra Pradesh state was an offshoot of his course on Legal Aid and Public Interest Litigation at NALSAR, Hyderabad in 2003. He developed a specialized Diploma in Paralegal Practice at Indira Gandhi National Open University in 2009 during his tenure as Director of the School of Law at New Delhi.
The Consortium of National Law Universities was established on 19 August 2017 with the aim of improving the standard of legal education in the country and justice system through legal education with Prof. R. Each of these law schools were to be established under a specific legislation , to be passed by the State legislature of the State desirous of establishing a law school.
