Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel was opened on 16 March 2012. The hotel was built on the site of former ride Jungle Coaster, a MACK Wild Mouse style rollercoaster, themed to Lego Technic over 400 metres of track to a height of 16 metres at a top speed of 60 km/h (37 mph). Windsor Safari Park was a safari park built on St Leonard's Hill on the outskirts of the town of Windsor in Berkshire, England; it has since been converted into the site of Legoland Windsor. Billed as "The African Adventure", the park included drive-through animal enclosures, aviaries, a dolphinarium and minor theme park rides.

Vikings' River Splash was a ride at Legoland Windsor. [1] It opened in 2007, later than expected because of construction delays. The ride was a river rapids ride which is a common attraction in many theme parks. The ride was in the "Land of the Vikings" area of the park. [2]
