Roughnecks is a British television drama series, created and principally written by former Tomorrow's World presenter Kieran Prendiville, that first broadcast on BBC1 on 16 June 1994. Produced by First Choice Productions, Roughnecks ran for two series, with the final episode broadcasting on 21 December 1995.
The show focuses mainly on the Roughnecks' missions, rather than addressing the larger war. The series aired for one season in the syndicated Bohbot Kids Network block beginning in August 1999 in the United States and Canada. [3] It was later picked up by the Sci-Fi Channel in the U.S. (along with the rest of the BKN block) and Teletoon in Canada.
