Capella Singapore; Crockfords Tower, formerly planned to be named Maxims Tower, [1] is an 11-storey all-suite hotel [2] overlooking the Singapore harbour and the Southern Islands. The resort's casino is located beneath the tower. [3] The hotel was topped-out on 27 February 2009 and opened on 20 January 2010.
The hotel features a "plain and simple" façade, with walls made of reinforced concrete and windows framed with metal and accompanied by fixed ventilators either above or below. It utilises hand-written ledgers for reservations. Coin-operated scales can be found by the lift and mini-televations are mounted on the walls of the hotel's rooms. [11]

[ 4 ] Completion was intended for 1965, but Singapore left Malaysia that year, and by November 1965, only the pilings of the structure had been completed.
