Upin and Ipin will start their fun story with the Chinese New Year story featuring a Chinese girl, Mei Mei (美美) as the seventh season's premier. The episodes air on Saturday evenings at 6:30 pm. Upin & Ipin: The Lone Gibbon Kris (Malay: Upin & Ipin: Keris Siamang Tunggal) is a 2019 Malaysian Malay-language animated adventure film. The film follows the adventure of the twins and their friends in the fantastical kingdom of Inderaloka, where they have to save the kingdom from the evil king called Raja Bersiong .

The film was shot and completed in the same year but was not released due to many technical issues.
