Nurshahila binti Amir Amzah (born 13 August 1990) [7] better known as Shila Amzah is a Malaysian singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, she began going to recording studios at the age of 4 with her father and recorded a pop studio album five years later.

Sheila Majid was born in Kuala Lumpur, (then in Selangor state), Malaysia on 3 January 1965. [2] Her mother is a native Malay with Mandailing ancestry whose great-great-grandfather was Sutan Puasa, and early settler in Kuala Lumpur.
