Laurel Park Place is an enclosed shopping mall located in the city of Livonia, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan, United States. The mall, which is managed by CBL & Associates Properties , features approximately 30 stores and three restaurants.
Livonia Mall remained largely unchanged until the late 1980s. [2] In 1987, a new wing ending in a Mervyns department store was added. [4] Children's Palace, a toy store chain, was added to the west end of the mall in 1989. This store closed three years later and was eventually converted to a paintball arena which closed in the mid-2000s.
The Briarwood Mall store and another at Laurel Park Place in Livonia, Michigan, were both sold to Davenport, Iowa-based Von Maur. In early 2004, Longwood, Florida -based Jake's Stores bought the naming rights and re-established Jacobson's in Florida. [ 6 ]
