JOT [1] (also known as JOT the Dot) is an American animated children's television program that ran from 1965 to 1974, and 1980 to 1981. The series consisted of 30 four-minute episodes, which were syndicated between 1965 and the 1980s.
Dot's little brother, Enzo, hero-worships Bob and intends to become a Guardian. He has a crackling, mid-pubescent voice and often uses catch-phrases such as "alphanumeric" and "high-density" in place of real-world expressions like "cool" and "awesome" to express enthusiasm.
Dot Jones co-starred with Hilary Duff in Lizzie McGuire. They were later reunited for Material Girls. Jones, being a fan of Glee and having worked with series co-creator Ryan Murphy on Nip/Tuck and Pretty/Handsome, asked co-executive producer Brad Falchuk during an encounter at a supermarket if she could be on the show.
