I-Frame Delay (IFD) is a scheduling technique for adaptive streaming of MPEG video. The idea behind it is that streaming scheduler drops video frames when the transmission buffer is full because of insufficient bandwidth, to reduce the transmitted bit-rate. The characteristics of the algorithm.: [1]
The idea behind pacing is to avoid traffic bursts and even the data flow. If an object is delivered in its entirety, pacing provides no benefit. Where pacing can offer savings is when the object is "abandoned" part way through. When abandonment occurs, the portion of the object left in the receiving device buffer is effectively wasted. [3] [14]
To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used: {{Region 10 School Districts in Texas | state = collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar. {{Region 10 School Districts in Texas | state = expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
An information flow diagram (IFD) is a diagram that shows how information is communicated (or "flows") from a source to a receiver or target (e.g. A→C), through some medium. [1]: 36–39 The medium acts as a bridge, a means of transmitting the information. Examples of media include word of mouth, radio, email, etc.

Indentation force-deflection is a process used in the flexible foam manufacturing industry to assess the "softness" of a sample of foam such as memory foam.To conduct an IFD test, a circular flat indenter with a surface area of 323 square centimeters (50 sq. inches - 8" in diameter) is pressed against a foam sample usually 100 mm thick and with an area of 500 mm by 500 mm (ASTM standard D3574).
