The host school manages the logistics, expenses, labor and security in the venues. Each sport has its own host, with the host for basketball being the head of all hosts. Since Season 91 (2015–16), the rotation is based on alphabetical order of the schools. For Season 100 (2024–25), Lyceum of the Philippines University is the host school.
The arrangement of the school colors is based from their admission in the UAAP (except for Ateneo de Manila University and De La Salle University's colors).
