PTH 7 first appeared on the 1928 Manitoba Highway Map as a short feeder route connecting Stonewall and Winnipeg. [5] When PTH 6 was opened to traffic in 1947, it incorporated a small portion of the original PTH 7. That same year, a second leg of PTH 7 was opened connecting Stony Mountain to Teulon. [6]
Provincial Road 200 (PR 200) is a provincial road in Manitoba. It runs from the Perimeter Highway (PTH 100) at Winnipeg to the border town of Emerson, ending at Manitoba Highway (PTH) 75 at Emerson, near the Canada–United States border.
The first Norwood bridge was a privately-built toll bridge, complete in 1890.It was purchased by the City of St Boniface in 1904. [2] With the bridge being deemed unsafe in 1929, negotiations toward construction of a replacement bridge began in the fall of 1930 between the Cities of Winnipeg and St Boniface.
