"Lemon Tree" is a song by German band Fool's Garden from their third album, Dish of the Day (1995). The band's lead vocalist, Peter Freudenthaler , said that he wrote the song on a Sunday afternoon when he was waiting for his girlfriend who did not come. [ 2 ]
Andrea Amati (ca. 1505 - 1577, Cremona) was a luthier, from Cremona, Italy. [1] [2] Amati is credited with making the first instruments of the violin family that are in the form we use today. [3] Several of his instruments survive to the present day, and some of them can still be played.

The tune is based on the Brazilian folk song Meu limão, meu limoeiro, arranged by José Carlos Burle in 1937 and made popular by Brazilian singer Wilson Simonal.
