The USF College of Nursing was founded in 1973, [2] enrolling its charter class into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The college added a Master of Science in Nursing program in 1980, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in 1997, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in 2005. [2]
Resident rotations in the program include emergency medicine, trauma, medical ICU, surgical ICU, pediatric ICU, and anesthesia.
