Elder High School is a Catholic all-male, college-preparatory high school in the Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The high school has been in existence for over 100 years, and is a diocesan high school within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati .
The Greater Cincinnati area consists of many public school districts, most of which contain one or more high school. There are also a number of Catholic high schools, many of which are single-sex, along with many other private schools (which are generally co-ed).
Elder High School is turning 100, and it will celebrate with at least one event a month up until May 2023.
Edline was a learning community management system used for school and class organization. It provided district, school, and classroom level website support for administrators, parents, teachers, and students from kindergarten through 12th grade. It is now discontinued.
Seton was founded as Mount St. Vincent Academy in 1854. It was also known as Cedar Grove. With the arrival of Elder High School's girls' department, [4] Cedar Grove was renamed in honor of Elizabeth Ann Seton on September 12, 1927. [5] [6]

The Thomas Jefferson Elder High and Industrial School, at 316 Hall St. in Sandersville, Georgia, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981. It is a Rosenwald school built in 1927. It competed in the Georgia Interscholastic Association. [2] It has an H-shaped plan and is the surviving building of a larger school complex.
